Safety crews reported to the corner of Sixth and Town streets in Columbus around 10:50 p.m. Monday after receiving reports of a water main break, according to the report.

Medical center officials said the water main break led to a power outage at the Surgical and Heart Center. Safety officials restored water and power to the facility Tuesday.

As a precaution, the hospital diverted trauma and emergency patients to other facilities in the area and canceled elective surgeries Tuesday. All services resumed Wednesday.
