2. In the program, a cross-disciplinary team of endocrinologists, dieticians, social workers, psychologists, psychiatrists, nurses and surgeons work alongside patients to create an individualized weight loss plan to ensure maintained results.
3. The program features a free weight loss seminar each month for individuals considering bariatric surgery or seeking more information on weight loss options.
4. The hospital also offers a bariatric support group open to members of the public.
5. Keck Medicine of USC's bariatrics program received a Center of Excellence designation from the American Society of Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery and the Surgical Review Corporation, which makes bariatric surgery at the hospital Medicare-eligible.
