HSS, which is the world’s largest academic medical center dedicated to musculoskeletal health, installed the system to remain a leader in low-dose imaging, according to spine surgeon Roger Widmann, MD, chief of pediatric orthopedic surgery at HSS.
The EOS system was the first one HSS installed outside of its main campus in New York City, at the HSS Westchester regional facility in White Plains, N.Y. HSS also offers EOS imaging solutions at Lerner Children’s Pavilion, Caspary Research Building and its department of radiology and imaging.
EOS imaging’s 3D orthopedic planning solutions include hipEOS 3.0, spineEOS and kneeEOS.
