Brodstone Memorial Hospital (Superior, Neb.). In 1928, Evelyn Brodstone Vestey and her brother Lewis donated funds to the city of Superior to build a hospital in memory of their mother Mathilde. The hospital has grown since then, and now includes an attached clinic and a rural medical clinic in nearby Nelson, Neb. Patients tend to rate Brodstone Memorial Hospital highly on their HCAHPS scores, and as a result, the hospital has a four-star rating on CMS’ Hospital Compare.
