The $61 million, 75,000-square-foot facility features a 27-bay infusion center, three private rooms, a healing garden, a breast center, radiation oncology areas, complementary alternative medicine and Cancer LifeNet, a logistical and financial support system for those struggling with cancer care.
Upper Chesapeake Health’s partnership with the University Maryland Medical System means that patients from the Kaufman Cancer Center can also take advantage of clinicians and services offered through the University’s Baltimore-based Greenbaum Cancer Center, according to the report.
