The man, who worked for Jaynes Corporation, was hit by a falling spool of wire around 8 a.m. Feb. 8. He was taken by ambulance to Christus St. Vincent Regional Medical Center in Santa Fe, hospital officials “believed he expired shortly after arrival,” hospital spokesman Arturo Delgado told KSAT.
Presbyterian broke ground on the new 342,000 square-foot facility in October and construction is expected to be completed by the end of the year.
