The state’s Health Services Development Agency previously approved the development of the facility, but the Davidson County judge called its approval an “error in judgment,” according to the report.
The HCA facility is opposed by Williamson Medical Center in Franklin, Tenn., and Maury Regional Hospital in Columbia, Tenn., who say there is not sufficient community need for the new facility.
