Police said Joshua Hernandez entered the hospital’s emergency room for a possible synthetic marijuana overdose. As Mr. Hernandez was being led from the waiting room to another room, he reportedly kicked an ER technician in the ribs and hit the man in the head. He then proceeded to assault two hospital security guards, according to the article. Police said Mr. Hernandez was eventually restrained to a hospital bed.
Mr. Hernandez was charged with three counts of aggravated assault, simple assault and harassment, according to the article.
