Patient in custody after allegedly assaulting nurse at Oklahoma hospital

A patient at Oklahoma City-based St. Anthony’s Hospital was arrested just after midnight Tuesday after he allegedly assaulted a nurse, reports KFOR.

According to the complaint, 47-year-old patient Barius Hayzlett, who was admitted to the hospital for observation, intentionally exposed himself to the nursing staff. At one point during his stay, Mr. Hayzlett called the nurse in to help with his gown. While the nurse was assisting Mr. Hayzlett, he reportedly grabbed the nurse’s genitals, according to Fox 25.

Immediately following the incident, the nurse left the room to call the police.

The patient was arrested on one complaint of sexual battery.
