The government alleged PMG submitted false claims to Medicare and Tennessee’s Medicaid program, TennCare, for medically unnecessary urine drug tests.
The government further alleged PMG billed Medicare and TennCare for pharmaceuticals that were not approved by the Food and Drug Administration. PMG purchased the drugs, including Botox and Eufflexa, from foreign-based suppliers, according to the DOJ.
