Donald Burkhart Jr. was convicted of two counts of terroristic threats June 7 in the November 2018 incident.
Prosecutors said Mr. Burkhart made a series of threats while his wife was in labor at the hospital. He allegedly told nurses and a physician he was president of a biker gang and that the gang “will descend on this hospital and have their way,” according to the district attorney’s office.
The hospital was placed on lockdown for an entire night over the incident, according to prosecutors.
Mr. Burkhart awaits sentencing.
