A family member brought the 20-year-old man to the hospital’s emergency room, where he hit a security guard in the groin and face, according to the police report.
Hospital staff locked the man in a room until College Station police arrived.
The man is now facing charges of assault with bodily injury and resisting arrest. His bond total is $8,000.
