Jeremy Daniel Griffin was arrested in June 2017 after presenting falsified documents to Aya Healthcare, a travel nursing firm, to work at Gilroy-based St. Louise Regional Hospital. Mr. Griffin pleaded no contest to charges of identify theft and false impersonation.
Though he is not a licensed registered nurse, Mr. Griffin previously held a vocational nursing license that was revoked in 2014 after burglary and stolen property convictions.
“This case should serve as a warning that law enforcement will doggedly pursue individuals engaged in identity theft,” said Santa Clara County Prosecutor Vishal Bathija, according to The Mercury News.
