Last October, Mr. Knight was arrested after local police found him sleeping behind the wheel of his parked car, which was running and had its lights on. After waking Mr. Knight up, police found that his blood alcohol content was roughly three times Florida’s legal limit, according to the report.

Mr. Knight pleaded not guilty to two misdemeanor charges and now faces a Sept. 19 court hearing, according to the report. He reportedly told Jackson CEO Carlos Migoya about his arrest the day after it occurred.

Mr. Knight has served as CFO of Jackson, one of the largest public health systems in the country, since October 2010.
