Ambulance stolen from Strong Memorial Hospital

Rochester, N.Y.-based Strong Memorial Hospital emergency workers jumped out of the way as an unknown individual carjacked one of the hospital’s ambulances and drove off, according to the Democrat & Chronicle.

A spokesperson for Pittsford Volunteer Ambulance said the incident occurred around 2 p.m. on Oct. 9. Rochester police found the abandoned vehicle around 3:30 p.m.

No arrest has been made and police are still investigating the incident, according to the article.
