Here are five things to know about the unsealed cases.
1. Seventeen of the 19 lawsuits were filed in 2012 or after, and the remaining two cases were filed in April 2008 and May 2011.
2. The government declined to intervene in 10 of the cases.
3. The government intervened in three of the cases, and it was unclear if the government intervened in six of the cases.
4. Ten of the lawsuits involved both state and federal claims.
5. Nearly 70 percent of the whistle-blowers were current or former employees of the defendants.
