Stanley Hupfeld, former president and CEO of Oklahoma City-based Integris Health, has died at the age of 82, according to an Aug. 11 LinkedIn post from the health system.
Mr. Hupfeld joined the organization in 1987 as president and CEO of Integris Health Baptist Medical Center in Oklahoma City. He served as president and CEO of Integris Health from 1987 through 2009, according to the post.
During his tenure, Mr. Hupfeld led Integris through the opening of a comprehensive transplant center, Oklahoma’s only burn center, a mechanical heart program and a cancer institute that offered proton therapy.
“He was committed to the Integris Health mission, which at the time was to improve the health of the people and communities we serve, and he played an instrumental role in building our great health system,” the post said. “We extend our sincerest condolences to his family, including his wife, Suzie, their children and grandchildren.”
