More than 200 startups that are developing solutions to problems affecting healthcare, energy, education and transportation have been provided mentorship programs and business and financial connections from 1776, according to the news release.
“MedStar Health combines significant expertise in healthcare human factors and usability with a history of innovation in simulation techniques and health IT. They are the ideal partner to work with the 1776 members and to help catalyze a healthcare entrepreneurial ecosystem that can develop and commercialize solutions that truly benefit our society,” said Donna Harris, co-founder of 1776, in the news release.
Along with MedStar, other partners of 1776 include Microsoft and Comcast Business, according to the news release.
