No details have been released as to how many employees will be affected by the cuts. CRHS employs more than 600 people filling about 520 full-time positions, according to the report. Henry Hawthorne III, CRHS’ president and CEO, called the reductions “significant.”
CRHS has lost $2 million in 2014’s first quarter due to lower patient volumes and Medicaid reimbursement cuts, according to the report.
