Labcorp has completed the acquisition of select laboratory assets from Syracuse, N.Y.-based Crouse Health’s Laboratory Alliance of Central New York.
Under the terms of the deal, Labcorp is assuming operations of Lab Alliance’s 12 patient service centers, according to a March 19 news release. Labcorp will also manage the day-to-day operations of Crouse’s inpatient laboratory.
Labcorp has struck deals to acquire lab assets from several health systems in recent years. In December, the company acquired ambulatory outreach laboratory assets from Franklin, Tenn.-based Community Health Systems.
In 2025, Labcorp also acquired Tupelo-based North Mississippi Health Services’ ambulatory outreach laboratory business and struck a deal to acquire select assets from Fort Wayne, Ind.-based Parkview Health’s outreach laboratory services.
