Falls Church, Va.-based Inova Health System and Sioux Falls, S.D.-based Sanford Health signed on to Truveta, which allows clinicians and researchers to glean insights from deidentified EHR data.
“By partnering with Truveta and other leading health systems, our clinicians will have the ability to enhance care and pave the way for medical advancements for our diverse patient population,” Sanford Health CEO Bill Gassen said in a May 17 Truveta news release.
Inova President and CEO J. Stephen Jones, MD, stated that the partnership aims to “bring together nationwide data from diverse sources to advance innovation and improve healthcare outcomes.”
The company debuted in 2020 with founding health system members Renton, Wash.-based Providence, Charlotte, N.C.-based Advocate Health, Dallas-based Tenet Healthcare and Livonia, Mich.-based Trinity Health. It is led by former Microsoft executive Terry Myerson.
