MedQuest, which Novant Health has owned since 2007, has previously done business in Virginia, North Carolina, Maryland, Mississippi and South Carolina, helping hospitals and health systems develop outpatient radiology strategies. The investment from TPG will allow the company to grow to markets across the country.
“Organizations need to find innovative ways to deliver value-based, high-quality care, and this type of partnership-centric collaboration is the future of delivering on those goals,” said Dean Swindle, president of Novant Health Enterprises, in a joint Jan. 23 news release.
Terms of the deal, which was finalized Dec. 31, were not disclosed.
