Lilly social impact venture fund raises $300M

The Eli Lilly and Co. social impact venture capital portfolio received an additional $50 million, bringing the company’s total to $300 million.

The portfolio aims to increase healthcare access and fight racial injustice. The additional $50 million investment will go to venture capital firms working to provide healthcare to low- and middle-income communities, according to a May 9 Eli Lilly news release.

The fund was launched in 2020.
