The agreement covers professional and technical staff as well as certified nursing assistants represented by the United Nurses and Allied Professionals.
Nina Rotatori, UNAP Local 5067 president, said the agreement “recognizes the commitment and sacrifice of our frontline caregivers through increased economic security and the continuation of hard-fought rights and benefits,” according to The Valley Breeze.
Mike Souza, CEO of Landmark Medical Center and the Rehabilitation Hospital of Rhode Island, also praised the agreement, calling it “mutually beneficial.”
