Mercyhealth will look to hire more than 400 workers to staff new hospital

Mercyhealth’s new hospital campus in Rockford, Ill., will bring hundreds of jobs to the area, according to a WIFR report.

The hospital said it expects to hire more than 400 new workers for the new facility, but noted it likely won’t actively seek to fill those positions until 2018, according tot he report.

The hospital campus is currently under construction and slated to open in early 2019, according to WIFR.
