The jobs come less than a year after the hospital affiliated with Yale New Haven (Conn.) Health. In addition to the 40 new jobs, which will be for Yale New Haven Health’s physician-owned foundation, Northeast Medical Group, the partnership ensures 80 positions will remain at the New London campus, L+M Hospital President and CEO Patrick Green said in the report.
A hospital spokesperson told NBC Connecticut the new jobs are related to financial services and billing positions, adding that job descriptions and a recruiting plan are still in the works.
