The four-year contract includes pay hikes of at least 15 percent for all nurses, the California Nurses Association, which represents the RNs, said in a news release. The contract also specifies nurses would be paid based on experience. The union said the contract also includes expanded life insurance, educational opportunities for RNs and workplace violence protections, among other protections, the union said.

The contract covers the more than 1,100 nurses at both USC facilities.
