Hospital trustees unanimously approved the pay increase for employees at a meeting on July 25. Physicians, pro re nata workers, temporary positions and contracted employees are not included in the pay increase.
“The RMC Board of Trustees recognizes the vital role that the employees contribute in achieving the mission of our health care system, and the timing was right to recognize those contributions,” Bert Whitaker, RMC’s interim president and CEO, told T&D.
