The system will subsidize 25 percent of employees’ fares when they use SunRail to commute to work.
“We feel that SunRail is a better, healthier way to get to work. It’s less stressful to get on the train and ride in air-conditioned comfort and not have to worry about traffic,” Jody Barry, director of facilities administration at Florida Hospital, told the Orlando Business Journal.
The system has set a goal to get 500 employees at its Orlando campus to ride the commuter train to work, according to the report.
