The Aug. 18 poll asked more than 900 practice leaders in what area their staff needs the most education and training, with nearly half (47 percent) choosing customer service. This was followed by revenue cycle (20 percent), government regulations (13 percent), leadership development (12 percent) and “other” (8 percent).

MGMA plans to survey results as well as training and education areas at their annual conference in October in Anaheim, Calif.
