Here are six things to know about Ms. McHugh.
1. She began her Cleveland Clinic career 35 years ago as a medical technologist in microbiology.
2. Most recently, Ms. McHugh was executive administrator for Cleveland Clinic and the CEO office. She was named acting CHRO Feb. 1.
3. During her tenure as executive administrator, she developed and implemented several programs, including: the Art & Medicine Program, the Office for a Healthy Environment and a centralized call center, Cleveland Clinic said.
4. Prior to her role with the CEO office, Mr. McHugh helped to manage and nationally expand Cleveland Clinic’s cardiac surgery affiliate program model.
5. She earned a master’s degree in business administration from The Weatherhead School of Management at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland.
6. She serves on the board of directors for the Cleveland Council on World Affairs.
