“The Ansell Cares HERO Nurse Service Award was established as a way to demonstrate our appreciation and admiration for nurses, their professionalism, dedication and compassion,” said Anthony Lopez, president and general manager of the global business unit at Ansell, a provider of health and safety protection solutions. “Nurses are selfless heroes, and each year the Ansell Cares HERO nominees personify their commitment to providing a remarkable patient experience and to improve the lives of patients.”
Nominations are open now through May 12. Voting on the nominees will run May 13 through June 12. The 10 nominees who receive the most votes will win the award, which includes a nursing reference book. Ansell will also make a donation to a charity chosen by the nominee with the highest number of votes.
