Officials at both organizations said the partnership agreement is the first step to forming an affiliation between the two health organizations. As part of the agreement, UW Medicine will work with CWMA to create a sustainable finance plan for the medical clinic to ensure the facility’s long-term operations.

“We are very pleased with this news and look forward to continuing the exploration,” said Lopez Clinic Medical Director Bob Wilson, MD. “We know UW Medicine will be an outstanding partner for us. With their support, we will be able to build on the terrific care our clinic offers and have access to some of the finest medical support in the Pacific Northwest.”
