UVA, Norfolk children’s hospital collaborate to provide more efficient cardiac care

The University of Virginia Children’s Hospital in Charlottesville and the Norfolk, Va.-based Children’s Hospital of the King’s Daughters are partnering to improve the quality of care for babies born with complex congenital heart conditions.

Both institutions will work together to treat patients on a case-by-case basis. The partnership is pending regulatory approval.

The financial terms of the transaction, if any, were not available.
