Aurora, Colo.-based UCHealth finalized its acquisition of Pikes Peak Regional Hospital, a 15-bed facility in Woodland Park, Colo., UCHealth announced April 2.
The integration was completed April 1. However, PPRH has maintained a long-standing relationship with UCHealth.
Officials said the deal will enable the critical access hospital to obtain more resources from UCHealth to improve its patient care efforts and grow its staff.
