Here are three things to know about the addition.
1. Regional Hospital of Jackson (Tenn.), Dyersburg (Tenn.) Regional Medical Center, Volunteer Community Hospital in Martin, Tenn., and McNairy Regional Hospital in Selmer), Tenn., are now part of the system.
2. With the addition of the four hospitals, Tennova is now one of the largest healthcare systems in Tennessee, with four hospitals in its west region and seven in its east region.
3. As part of Tennova’s statewide network, hospitals have access to shared expertise and resources, according to the report, which cites a news release. Affiliated physician clinics and emergency medical services are also part of the network. All network facilities are affiliated with Franklin, Tenn.-based Community Health Systems.
