Jasper County Hospital joins Franciscan Alliance: 4 things to know

Mishawaka, Ind.-based Franciscan Alliance has finalized its previously announced purchase of Jasper County Hospital in Rensselaer, Ind., according to a Journal & Courier report.

Here are four things to know about the sale.

1. The sale was effective Sept. 1.

2. The name of the hospital will change to Franciscan Health Rensselaer.

3. The hospital will keep its current staff of about 435 employees, according to the report.

4. This will be Franciscan Alliance’s 14th hospital in Indiana and Illinois.
