TeamHealth Merges With Physician Services of Cleveland

Knoxville, Tenn.-based TeamHealth has announced a merger with the operations of Physician Services of Cleveland (Tenn.)

Physician Services of Cleveland provides staff for the emergency department of Cleveland, Tenn.-based SkyRidge Medical Center, which sees 52,000 patients annually. Under the agreement, TeamHealth began providing services to SkyRidge on June 1.

“Physician Services of Cleveland is committed to providing excellent emergency care for our community, and we are excited to joint TeamHealth,” said Madison Torrence, MD, president of Physician Services of Cleveland, in a news release.
