Financial details were not disclosed. Texas Regional is the fourth Dallas-area hospital to join Tenet’s network, joining Lake Pointe Medical Center in Rowlett, Centennial Medical Center in Frisco and Doctors Hospital of White Rock Lake in Dallas, according to a news release. Physician owners still have a minority interest in the hospital.
Tenet operates 78 hospitals through its subsidiaries. Last fall, the hospital operator completed a merger with Nashville, Tenn.-based Vanguard Health Systems in a transaction valued at $4.3 billion.
