IRMC officials said 12 health systems have expressed initial interest ahead of the hospital’s deadline to accept proposals, which ends Nov. 10. Officials said they expect to select six finalists by Nov. 17, choose their preferred partner by early February and close the deal by August of next year, the report states.
Some of the interested parties signed confidentiality agreements earlier this month to allow officials to review IRMC’s proprietary financial information, according to the report. The health systems will use the information to decide if they want to submit an official proposal before the Nov. 10 deadline.
The 12 interested parties include:
- Adventist Health System (Altamonte Springs, Fla.)
- Cleveland Clinic
- Health First (Rockledge, Fla.)
- Martin Health System (Stuart, Fla.)
- Orlando (Fla.) Health
- Trinity Health (Livonia, Mich.)
- University of Florida Health (Gainesville, Fla.)
- Duke LifePoint Healthcare (Brentwood, Tenn.)
- HCA
- Steward Health Care
- RCCH HealthCare Partners (Brentwood)
- Universal Health Services (King of Prussia, Penn.)
