Boca Raton Regional Hospital President and CEO Jerry Fedele confirmed to Boca Raton Magazine Oct. 17 the hospital hired Cain Brothers & Co. in August.
Mr. Fedele said after informing various healthcare organizations of the hospital’s partnership search, officials received “eight to 10 calls,” according to the report. However, he said officials are not interested in selling the facility.
“We are not totally giving up operating control, but there would be some communal governance,” he said. “It would be wrong to say that nothing will change.”
Mr. Fedele said officials will know by March if the partnership will come to fruition, the report states.
