Southwest, owner of Inland Valley and Rancho Springs Medical Centers in Riverside County, southeast of Los Angeles, plans to begin site-development for Temecula Regional Hospital early this summer.

Approval by the California Office of Statewide Health Planning and Development has taken several years, party because of a lawsuit by a citizens group and a nurses union.
