Select Medical Completes Acquisition of Georgia’s Regency Hospital

Select Medical Holdings, based in Mechanicsburg, Pa., has completed its acquisition of Alpharetta, Ga.-based Regency Hospital Co., according to a news release from Select Medical.

It was previously announced that Select Medical would acquire Regency Hospital for $210 million.

With the addition of Regency’s network of 23 hospitals in 9 states, Select Medical will operate 112 long-term acute care hospitals in 28 states, according to the report.
