Rochester Regional Health acquires Eastside Medical Urgent Care

Rochester (N.Y.) Regional Health will acquire Penfield, N.Y.-based Eastside Medical Urgent Care, effective Nov. 1.

Details regarding the transaction, including the financial terms of the agreement, have yet to be disclosed.

Eastside Medical Urgent Care was previously owned by Knoxville, Tenn.-based TeamHealth.

“This acquisition aligns with our goal to bring convenient and cost-effective healthcare to families throughout the region,” said Eric Bieber, MD, president and CEO of RRH. “The Rochester Regional Immediate Care Center in Penfield will build on the tradition of compassion and quality that the Eastside Medical Urgent Care team has brought to the community for 13 years.”
