Riverview Hospital Association finalizes merger with Aspirus

Riverview Hospital Association in Wisconsin Rapids, Wis., and Wausau, Wis.-based Aspirus have finalized a merger, according to My Fox Wausau.

The $100 million deal was first announced in late October. The 69-bed Riverview Hospital Association has about 50 physicians. Aspirus operates eight hospitals in Wisconsin and Michigan. According to the report, the merger will lead to a “more robust” Riverview Hospital.
