PMH is already in the process of acquiring Waterbury (Conn.) Hospital, and the for-profit system announced plans last week to acquire Rockville General in Vernon, Conn., and Manchester (Conn.) Memorial. Rockville General and Manchester Memorial are both part of Eastern Connecticut Health Network.
The terms of the sale of Rockville General and Manchester Memorial to PMH will be reviewed by ECHN’s governing body and voted on this summer.
PMH operates 13 hospitals and 40 clinics and outpatient centers in California, Texas and Rhode Island.
