Healthcare deals down year-over-year in May

There were 103 healthcare industry transactions in May 2015, down from 109 deals in May 2014, according to a report from Irving Levin Associates.

Although the total number of deals was down slightly in May 2015, the number of healthcare technology deals increased 9 percent year-over-year.

The number of healthcare services deals was down 16 percent in May 2015, compared to year prior, with the total number of deals dropping to 53 from 63.
