ProMedica finalizes acquisition of Michigan hospital

Toledo, Ohio-based ProMedica completed its acquisition of Coldwater, Mich.-based Community Health Center of Branch County Jan. 1.

Under the agreement, the hospital was rebranded ProMedica Coldwater Regional Hospital. The hospital will be governed by a local board of trustees.

ProMedica officials will meet with hospital employees, leaders, physicians and community members Jan. 8, and will hold a ribbon-cutting ceremony the same day to celebrate the rebranding.
