Premise Health has been operating the clinic on a month-to-month basis after acquiring the clinic’s previous manager TransformHealthRX in July 2016, according to the report. This week, members of the Greene County Insurance Committee chose Premise to continue operating the clinic. The new contract will only cover a few months and officials said they will regularly evaluate the operator’s performance.
Members of the Greene County Insurance Committee told The Greeneville Sun they chose Premise Health to avoid an immediate pull-out from the clinic and to allow the clinic operator a chance to streamline its performance and rectify operational and cost issues.
