Penn State Health completes integration of 100-member Pennsylvania physician group

Penn State Health, the parent company of Penn State Health Milton S. Hershey (Pa.) Medical Center, integrated approximately 100 physicians and other healthcare providers belonging to Lancaster, Pa.-based Physicians’ Alliance into the health system Oct. 2.

Penn State Health officials visited clinicians at each of the organization’s 12 practice sites Monday to welcome them to the health system.

The integration of the 12 Physicians’ Alliance practice sites also included the complete acquisition of Lancaster-based Central Penn Management Group, a physician management services organization. CPMG operations and employees will transition into Penn State Health by Jan. 1, officials said.
